The brand was created when the Brazilian Yolanda Figueiredo and the Argentinean Angélica Rueda, during a trip to Buenos Aires, met their friends Javier Campos Malbrán and Ernesto Del Castilho, who proposed organizing an event of decoration in Brazil. CASA COR© started in Brazil in 1987, with the first edition occurring in a residence, in the district of Jardim Europa, in São Paulo. There, 22 ambiences were laid out, created by 25 professionals and visited by 7 thousand people. Since then, CASA COR© has not stopped growing and has become a domestic and international reference of good taste, influencing opinion markers and adding value to associated brands.

In 2000, CASA COR© was acquired by an investment fund administered by the Pátria Banco de Negócios. The success story continued and gained even more impetus in March 2008, when CASA COR© was acquired by the groups ABRIL S/A and DORIA ASSOCIADOS. Since than, new exhibitions and new franchises have been created. More innovations arose, with a bold plan of licensing of products with the brand, investment in entertainment options and the creation of other events: CASA BOA MESA©, CASA KIDS©, CASA OFFICE©, CASA ENTRETENIMENTO©, CASA TALENTO©, CASA COR STARS© and CASA COR SEMINÁRIOS©.

Currently, CASA COR© has 19 franchises, 17 of them domestic (Amazonas, Bahia, Brasília, Campinas, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Paraná, Pernambuco, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, São Paulo and Sorocaba) and two international ones: Peru and Panamá. Every year, real estate is redesigned and decorated by the fore most professionals of architecture, decoration and landscape gardening. Several spaces are delimited so that specialists can modify them as they please, undertaking to create an innovating, attractive and sustainable ambience of extremely good taste. The exhibition of CASA COR© in São Paulo, at the Jockey Club, is the largest in the Americas and the second largest in the world, in square meters.

The result is an event which allows visitors to have the unique experience of enjoying state-of-the-art novelties in decoration, design, pieces, materials, technology and equipment, so that they undergo a moment of dreaming and wellbeing. The countless options of purchasing and leisure, which have been integrated with stores, restaurants, cafés, arcades, services and entertainment for children, has meant that CASA COR© attracts a public visiting in record numbers.

ABRIL & DORIA ASSOCIATION
Acquired in 2008 by the groups ABRIL S/A and DORIA ASSOCIADOS, the concepts of quality, exclusiveness and good taste are increasingly perceived at CASA COR©. Only in 2009 five more new events were executed. Besides CASA HOTEL© and CASA BOA MESA©, the following were created: CASA COR STARS© with lectures by people famous at home and overseas in the world of architecture, landscape gardening and decoration; CASA OFFICE©, version of CASA COR© for the corporate world; CASA KIDS©, concerned with the world of children, CASA ENTRETENIMENTO©, version of CASA COR© for areas such as cinemas, theaters, restaurants, bars, billiards, karaokes and cafés; and CASA TALENTO©, an area for new talents of the design of furniture, objects, accessories and illumination, as well as CASA COR© SEMINARS, concerned with contents for professionals of decoration and architecture.
